When you create an account or contact our team, you may share information such as your display name, email address, age confirmation, profile preferences, support messages and payment details processed by our trusted billing partners. We collect only what we genuinely need to give you a working, friendly service.
Like most modern services, we collect basic technical information when you visit ChatFAI: device type, browser version, language, time zone, approximate location based on your IP address, the pages you view and the actions you take inside the app. This helps us keep the service fast, stable and safe.
The messages you exchange with your companion are stored securely so that conversations can continue across sessions and so the long-term memory feature can work. We treat these conversations as deeply personal information and never share them with third parties for advertising or unrelated commercial use.
ChatFAI uses essential cookies to keep you signed in, optional analytics cookies to understand which pages and features people enjoy, and limited preference cookies to remember choices like theme or language. You can manage these in your browser settings or through our in-app preferences at any time.
We use the information described above to deliver the service you signed up for, personalise the experience, process payments, send you essential service messages, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with our legal obligations and continuously improve ChatFAI based on real usage.
We send service emails (receipts, security notices, important changes) to every active account. Marketing emails — product updates, new companions, special offers — are optional and require explicit opt-in. You can unsubscribe at any time directly from any marketing email you receive.
We work with a small set of trusted vendors who help us deliver ChatFAI: hosting providers, payment processors, customer support tooling, email delivery, analytics and security. Each vendor is bound by strict contractual obligations that match the standards described in this policy.
Because our team and partners operate from different countries, your information may be processed outside your home jurisdiction. When this happens we rely on recognised legal mechanisms — such as Standard Contractual Clauses — to ensure your data remains protected to a high standard.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting and security obligations. Conversation history is kept while your account exists and erased upon verified deletion requests, except where law requires otherwise.
You can request the deletion of your account at any time from your settings or by emailing our team. Once we verify your identity, we permanently remove your profile, conversation history and personalisation data within thirty days, save for limited records we are legally required to keep.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete the personal information we hold about you, as well as the right to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights at any time by contacting our team — we never charge a fee for legitimate requests.
ChatFAI is strictly intended for adults. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age and remove such accounts immediately if discovered.
We protect your information with modern security practices: encryption in transit and at rest, strict internal access controls, regular reviews of who has access to what, vulnerability monitoring, secure development practices and ongoing staff training on privacy and security topics.
In the unlikely event of a security incident that materially affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities promptly, in line with applicable laws. We will explain what happened, what data was affected and the steps we are taking in response.
The companions you interact with are powered by advanced language and personality models. Your conversations may be processed by these models in real time so that responses feel relevant and personal. We do not sell your conversations or use them to train models for unrelated third parties.
If you upload photos, voice notes or other content to enrich your conversations, that content is treated with the same care as your messages. Please do not upload material that infringes on the rights of others or that you do not have permission to share.
Payments are processed by certified payment partners. Full card numbers and banking credentials are never stored on our servers. We retain only the minimum information needed to display your billing history and to handle refunds, disputes and chargebacks lawfully.
Information related to refunds, chargebacks and billing disputes is retained to comply with consumer protection laws and to prevent abuse of our refund policy. The detailed refund policy is described in our Terms of Service.
To protect our community we use automated systems to detect suspicious sign-ups, payment fraud, harassment and other forms of abuse. These systems may temporarily restrict accounts pending review. Affected users can always appeal directly to our support team.
If we run advertising campaigns, we may use third-party services (such as ad networks) that place cookies to measure their effectiveness. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time using industry tools or the controls inside our website.
