By creating an account, accessing or using ChatFAI in any form, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our service. Your continued use of ChatFAI confirms your acceptance of any future updates to these terms.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to create an account or otherwise use ChatFAI. By using the service you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you have the full legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
To access most features you need to create an account using accurate and current information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential, for all activity that takes place under your account and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorised access or suspected security breach.
ChatFAI provides a digital companionship experience powered by artificial intelligence. Members can chat with a curated collection of AI personalities, send and receive multimedia content within the app, and personalise their experience through optional preferences and subscription tiers.
ChatFAI offers a free tier and paid subscription plans with additional features. Plan details, prices and benefits are displayed clearly on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time. New prices apply only from the next renewal cycle of any active subscription.
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle using the payment method on file, unless cancelled before the renewal date. We will email you a receipt for every successful charge and notify you about meaningful changes to billing in advance.
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time directly from your account settings, in a single step. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access to paid features until then. We do not require phone calls, forms or retention conversations to cancel.
Outside of cases protected by mandatory consumer law, payments for partially used billing periods are non-refundable. We may, at our discretion, issue goodwill refunds in exceptional circumstances. To request one, please contact our team and explain your situation in detail.
You agree to use ChatFAI for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to harass other members or our staff, attempt to interfere with the service, reverse engineer the platform, scrape content at scale, or use ChatFAI in any way that would expose us or other users to legal risk.
You may not use ChatFAI to generate, share or solicit content that depicts minors, real-world violence, hate speech, illegal activities or non-consensual material. Accounts that violate these rules may be suspended or permanently terminated without notice and refund.
You retain ownership of the content you upload, such as messages, photos and voice notes. By submitting content, you grant ChatFAI a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and display that content as strictly necessary to provide the service to you.
ChatFAI, its logos, brand assets, character designs, dialogue, code, models and overall look-and-feel are owned by ChatFAI Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works of any element of the service without our written permission.
Companion responses are produced by artificial intelligence and may occasionally be inaccurate, inconsistent or unrelated to the conversation. ChatFAI is provided for entertainment and companionship purposes; nothing said by a companion should be treated as professional advice of any kind.
ChatFAI does not provide medical, legal, financial, mental-health or other professional advice. If you are facing a health, safety or legal situation, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service in your jurisdiction immediately. ChatFAI is not a substitute for human care.
We work hard to keep ChatFAI available around the clock, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, third-party outages or events beyond our reasonable control. We aim to communicate planned maintenance in advance.
We may modify, add, replace or remove features at any time to keep the service safe, modern and aligned with our roadmap. Where a change materially affects existing paid features, we will provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate, alternative options for affected members.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, fail to pay your subscription, or use ChatFAI in a way that endangers our community, our partners or our infrastructure. Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and offer a path to resolution.
You can stop using ChatFAI at any time, delete your account from your settings and uninstall any related apps. Account deletion is permanent and will remove your conversation history, profile and personalisation data, subject to limited records we may keep to comply with the law.
ChatFAI is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. Your use of the service is at your own discretion and risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChatFAI Studio and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in that case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold ChatFAI Studio, its affiliates, employees and partners harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
Important service-related communications will be delivered to the email associated with your account or shown in-app. You agree to keep your contact details up to date and accept that electronic communications fulfil any legal requirement that those communications be in writing.
ChatFAI may rely on or link to third-party services (such as payment processors and analytics providers). We are not responsible for the practices, content or availability of those third-party services and recommend that you review their own terms before using them.
From time to time we may invite members to try beta or experimental features. These may be unstable, change without notice or be removed entirely. By using a beta feature you accept this risk and agree not to rely on its long-term availability.
Promotional offers, discounts or trial extensions may be subject to additional terms communicated at the time of the offer. Offers cannot generally be combined, are non-transferable and have no cash value, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, infrastructure failures, governmental actions, strikes or large-scale internet disruptions affecting the delivery of the service.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be interpreted to reflect, as closely as possible, the original intent of the parties.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be brought before the competent courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, except where mandatory consumer law grants you the right to a different forum.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through email or in-app notices, with a reasonable notice period before they take effect. Your continued use of ChatFAI after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
